I sit by the campfire, snuggling a skinny, long-legged brunette elf. My arms are trapped behind me in a singlesleeve, so it feels good to have someone to cuddle with. We’ve only just met, but I feel like I already know her…

In another window of the same computer, a skinny, female form with long elfin ears snuggles with a long-haired red headed neko, whom she has only just met but known for a while.

Yup… you’ve probably guessed it… using multiple instances of Second Life, I have now managed to cuddle with myself

Many of you have already met Lily (short for Llyenera Llewellyn), my alt originally made for medieval roleplay before I discovered most of the roleplay in Second Life is either boring or violent. She went into a bit of a stasis for a while as I focused on Vel, events pretty much conspiring to keep my attention on said red-headed neko. Alas, my curiosity got the better of me after a while, and I finally
logged back in on her.

Then the crazy idea struck me… what if I tried logging into both at once? Thaly told me the paramater to set to get it to work, and in minutes I had a pretty little neko and a pretty little elf snuggling next to the fire.

So… where do I go from here? I’ve already shown Master, who appears to wholeheartedly approve having two snarky slavegirls, even if they share a brain. But what about personality? Will Lily’s personality be different than Vel’s? She has already seemed a bit more reserved and respectful, but I’m wondering if that’s just because she doesn’t know many people yet. She and Vel have managed to get in some banter, and she does have more of a “big sister” feel to her. I guess I’ll just see how this plays out. :P

As an aside, for those of you in the know, yes, Lily’s changed her appearance a little. I’ve modified Vel’s shape to fit her (and almost like hers more o.O), and have changed her hair to brown. Why brown? Because Second Life is in serious need of brunettes, that’s why! It has to be the least common hair color. I see tons of blondes, tons of redheads… but hardly any brunettes. So, Lily is a brunette.
